In June you left Antarctica and started swimming North, where the water is warm enough for you to give birth to the baby you have been carrying for almost 12 months! Once you birth your 5m, 1.5 tonne calf, you then begin your journey South to get back to your major food source that only lives in abundance 12,000kms away.

As you and your calf get to Perth you come across an island and choose to swim on the Eastern side of it for the protection of the shallow waters. Here you can frolic, breach, tail slap, spy hop . . . you name it, now is the time to perform!

See and hear the Humpback Whales as they make this mammoth journey, passing between Fremantle and Rottnest, here along the beautiful coast of Western Australia. ON THE DAY

Confirm you have received your booking email.

If you have experienced motion sickness before it is recommended to take seasickness tablets at least 1 hour before boarding time. Check with your GP first if you’re unsure of which medication to take.

Bring a jacket as it can feel cool whilst the boat is in motion.

DEPARTURE DETAILS:

Trips run 10am - 12pm on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from the Sardine Jetty, Mews Road, Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour.

Our convenient location is well serviced by public transport, and there is also paid parking at the jetty.

Please allow time to arrive, purchase a parking ticket and be ready for boarding 15mins prior to departure.

Boarding closes at 9:55am and no exceptions will be made for late arrivals.
